I had such a great time at yesterday’s wedding with @cybertoad. Megan & Cruz’s day was so moving we both cried - normally I’m the sappy one!

Nice 1 mile walk around Monte Verde Lake - gorgeous watching sunset & moon rise. Lots of geese and we saw two elk! Bit nippy at 40 degrees.
From our condo at Angel Fire, we can see Wheeler Peak, the highest mtn in New Mexico. Temps in the 50s. Lovely! Just lovely.
A bear!!! We saw a bear!!! Along with 3 deer, a fox, maybe an elk (hard to identify from back end) and a fox! 3am New Mexico sightseeing.
If you ever need to record some really spooky howling wind, visit New Mexico in the middle of nowhere at night. Howling. Really. Crazy.

We are in New Mexico!!!!!!!! 13.5 hours to cross Texas diagonally. (Including pit stops & gas.)

I’ve lived in Texas for 25 years, and this is my first time officially in the Panhandle. Almost to Amarillo!
OMG!!! Texline - 36 miles. We are almost to the border!!! 189 miles to Angel Fire!!! Texas does, in fact, eventually end!
Small west Texas town food trifecta: Sonic, Dairy Queen & Subway. If it is large enough you get a bonus McDonalds or Pizza Hut.
OMG. Why does Texas have to be SO BIG??!? When you go from the south east corner to the north west border, it just never ends! Hours to go.
Middle of nowhere Texas: passed a lone house with a convertible parked in the front yard. With mannequins sitting on it. In bikinis. WTF???
So Cosmo says you’re fat? Well, I ain’t down with that! (We can’t help but sing along with Baby Got Back.)
